Users and Permissions
On the Users and Permissions page you, as an account administrator, can manage users’ roles and Invite users to your SkyBackup account for collaboration and subscription sharing.
Inviting Users
There are two invite options: Invite users, and Invite from Hubspot. Use Invite users to send invite to a specific email address. Use Invite from Hubspot to quickly select users from the list of users available in Source.
-
To invite users by email, click Invite users and enter the email address. You can invite multiple users at the same time by adding more email addresses separated by new lines.
-
To invite users from HubSpot, click Invite from HubSpot and select users from the list using checkboxes. Once done, click Invite.
Accepting Invitation
As an invited user, you receive an invitation to your email address. To accept it, open the invitation and click the Accept Invitation.
If you are logged out from SkyBackup, you will be transferred to the SkyBackup Sign In window. Sign up or enter your SkyBackup email and password and click Join Account.
If you are logged in to SkyBackup under the email address that differs from the one specified in the invitation, you will receive an Invitation email mismatch notification. Log out from SkyBackup and log back in with the proper email to accept the invitation. It can happen that by the time you accept an invitation, it has been revoked. In this case, you will receive a “This invitation no longer exists” notification. To find out details, contact the person responsible for the invitation. There is always an option to resend it.
Monitoring Invitations
Once you invite a user to your account, the invitation will appear under the Invited Users block. You can either delete and invitation or resend it by using the buttons on the right.
There are two SkyBackup user roles: Admin and User. Admin has full access to all features, while Users have limited access focused on data-related tasks. You may find a table with detailed description of the permissions below.
